“Yesss…. ” He listened to her and noted her name. “Atheeena…” He almost smirks when she curtsies. He crawls down and stands to his full height, getting up close to her face and staring into her eyes. He tilts his head slightly as she goes on about what she stands for and who’s daughter she is. Then she asks her question to which he answers, “…..Yessss”
Hmmm… This.. creature was far more intelligent than she had expected. He had indeed been human at one point before becoming this rather large Lizard human hybrid. Still in the sewer Athena glanced around then up through the man hole, rather wishing to go to the surface but far too interested in this man-creature. With confidence Athena moved to a place of better light then turned to face him once more. “Allow me to see thy face in the light, Lizard.“
She motioned for him to join her in the better light, a soft smile on her face before she flashed a pearly white grin. Delicate lips pulled up into a warm friendly smile. Athena wasn’t entirely sure why she found Lizard so fascinating. It was hardly her nature to find any mortal that interesting. Although she’d had her fair share of favorites throughout the centuries. Whether she considered Lizard a favorite she didn’t know right yet. So she would continue to observe him intensely. Aquiring more information about this… science.
He walked toward her. Being about 11.5 feet tall when hunched over like he was, gave him a physical height advantage over her. He walked into the light and his yellow-green eyes bored into hers as he stared at her. His tail moved back and forth behind him, as if it had a mind of it’s own, at times it would lightly brush the floor. “Cur…. Curiosity… killed the cat…” He didn’t know where int he world THAT came from, but it seemed fitting to him in the current situation.
A wide grin spread across her lips at his words, not at all threatened by his staring or his height. She was, after all, a Goddess from Olympus. In what looked like a flash Athena shifted shapes and turned into a small house cat and mewed at the large Lizard only to return to her regular form again. Winking in a teasing manner. “And stupidity killed the fool.” She mused a bit as she looked him over. Olympus had some rather strange creatures, but this was a mortal that had been changed from a human to a giant lizard without the aid of Gods or witch craft. Athena had to know how this science worked.
Lizard smirked as he saw her transform back to her normal form. He walked toward a ladder and began to climb up and out of the sewer, moving the manhole out of the way. He came up into an alleyway and began to scale the walls, waiting for her to come up out of the sewers herself. Even with the dank and disgusting smell of the sewers, she still smelled beautiful. He was eager to see what she could do and what would happen next.
